About Pawdock

We started Pawdock because buying for a dog in this country is oddly annoying.

Half the good stuff sits on overseas sites with three-week shipping. The rest is in a chain store charging forty pounds for a bed that lasts a month. And nearly every listing reads like it was written by a machine that has never met an animal.

So we did the boring version instead.

We stock in the UK

Everything we sell is held in a UK warehouse and sent out by UK couriers, so orders typically arrive in three to five working days rather than three weeks. Every product page states the timescale for that specific item. If anything ever ships from further afield, we will say so before you buy rather than after.

We write our own descriptions

Every product page here is written by a person who has read the specification, checked the measurements and worked out who the thing is actually for. If a bed is too small for a Labrador, we say so on the page. If a rope toy will not survive a determined chewer forever, we say that too. You should not have to guess.

We sell fewer things

We would rather stock a handful of products we would happily put in our own homes than two thousand we have never looked at. The range grows slowly, and on purpose.

What we are not

We are not a vet, and nothing on this site is veterinary advice. We are a small UK shop selling toys, beds, feeders and kit for cats and dogs. For anything health related, please speak to your vet.
