Terms of service
Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of the Pawdock website and to any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Who we are
Pawdock is a UK-based online retailer of pet products. Our full business details are set out in our contact information policy.
Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We will send an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt. A contract between us is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.
We may refuse or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if there has been a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Pricing
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
We take care to price accurately, but errors can happen. If we find an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
Product information
We work hard to describe our products accurately. Product images are for illustration and colours may vary slightly between screens. Sizes and weights are approximate unless stated otherwise.
Suitability and animal welfare
Our products are accessories, toys, equipment and consumables for pets. They are not veterinary products, and nothing on this site is veterinary advice. Please supervise your pet when introducing any new product, choose the correct size for your animal, and speak to your vet if your pet has a health condition or if you have any doubt about whether a product is suitable.
Availability of this site
We aim to keep the site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of the site without notice.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page at the time you place it.
